Teal Kalo Print
Teal Kalo Print
Kalo is the Hawaiian name for the taro plant, which is much more than a staple food source. To Native Hawaiians, kalo is a sacred connection to their ancestors, a center of spiritualism, mythology, and social structure. It is the symbolic “Elder Brother” of mankind, nourishing us so that we in turn respect and care for the kalo.
